About The Event
Looking for some competition? Register for our tournament option where you will complete two rounds (four hands each) and compete for prizes including a tile set and coordinating mat! Want to ease into summer with a relaxed afternoon of play? Sign up for open play and enjoy casual play for a cause.
Dress in your chill summer best and enjoy a fun afternoon with mocktails and mahjong. Attendees can vote for the best ensemble for the Life of the Party prize, a coastal-themed gift basket!
The silent auction will go live June 1, 2026.
Tournament Rules/Information
We will use the 2026 NMJL card and follow NMJL rules (no blanks and two fewer jokers)
The table can decide on tournament day if it wants to purchase the blanks and extra jokers for $60 for the table
Format:
1-1:05pm Announcements
1:05-2:20pm Round 1 (four hands)
2:20-2:30pm Snack Break
2:30-3:45pm Round 2 (four hands)
3:50-4pm Prizes
Prizes (Based on Total Points)
1st Place: Humble Oak Co Cape Cod Tile Set + Coordinating Mat
2nd Place: Mahjong Staycation Basket including solo mahjong board
3rd Place: Oh My Mahjong Heron Mat
Any disputes or questions should be directed to the Tournament Director
Open Play
Your table can play mahjong at your leisure! We will connect you with your tablemates prior to June 13 so you can decide together what card you will play. Enjoy as many hands as you can get in at a relaxed pace. No prizes are awarded for this play, but you can still participate in the silent auction or the Life of the Party prize!
