The Heron Foundation is excited to provide scholarship opportunities to students at Cyber Academy of South Carolina and Heron Virtual Academy!
About the Founders Scholarship
The Founders Scholarship is named in honor of our founding board members Jennifer Hincapie, Sandra Sandifer, Steve Fowle, and Dr. Wayne Brazell.
Timeline
Scholarship applications will be accepted October 15 - December 15, 2025.
Winners will be notified in March 2026 and publicly recognized at graduation in May 2026.
Eligibility
Students must be enrolled in or planning to enroll in:

a four-year or two-year accredited college, or
-
a nationally or regionally recognized certification/training program.
Relatives of current board, officers, staff, or committee members are ineligible.
Award
Up to $1,000 per year, up to four years (max $4,000 per recipient)
Usable for tuition, required fees, books, supplies, and equipment.
